    Located near the wharf, the ocean produce pavilion is an absolute must for any visit to this popular Nouméa market. As you wander through the pavilion, take a moment to admire the glittering displays of fresh lagoon and deep sea fish, shellfish and more. Caught fresh each morning, the stalls are filled with locally sourced seafood as diverse as mangrove crabs, blue prawns, octopus, lobsters, golden-lined spinefoot fish (picots), bluespine unicornfish (dawas), red mullet and mahi-mahi. Although it may sit away from the other pavilions, the short walk to the ocean produce pavilion is well worth the effort.
