Passing from La Roche Percée through Turtle Bay to Lovers’ Bay, the Three-Bay Trail is unquestionably one of the most attractive pathways on the Bourail coastline and on the entire West Coast.
A real “must do” for anyone staying in Bourail, the Three-Bay Trail cannot fail to enchant whoever follows it. With its graceful column pines turning upward arabesques towards the sky, Turtle Bay retains an unequalled charm. And, if luck smiles on you, you could see a dugong turning somersaults in one of the bays, some turtles frolicking below, hawks and starlings flying above you, herons posing for you or schools of fishes having wild fun in the surf.

As to Lovers’ Bay, its name comes either from a legend about two young lovers from rival tribes or else, simply, from the intimate ambience the beach offers. Deliciously secluded from public view, and surrounded by pandan trees, the place certainly offers a romantic setting for lovers’ rendezvous!
